Combining dub grooves, punk rock songwriting, and a creative approach towards making music, is only half of the story behind Reclaiming The Airwaves. The mysterious group has been creating music since 2005 out of their underground studio based in Baltimore. The trio consists of three roadies who have traveled the world with countless musicians over the past five years. Collaborating with the musicians they have toured with and other friends from across the world on their forthcoming release, slated for Summer 2010, Reclaiming The Airwaves has impressed some of the most talented musicians of their day. With subtle anti-establishment viewpoints and outspoken viewpoints on community based radio, food manufacturing, and promoting peace they have made some noise on pirate and underground radio stations across the globe. Their message is simple, "If the news media worked properly, everything else will follow." The group promotes the creation of pirate radio stations and even teaches others how to become radio pirates.

Reclaiming The Airwaves released a few demos in 2007 and will be releasing a full length album in the summer of 2010. The upcoming album titled, "Reclaiming The Airwaves" is being recorded on four different continents and has a heavy hitting list of guest appearances to go with it. More information will be released soon about the album and future touring plans for the band.

On December 16th, Chase Lang granted permission on behalf of Reclaiming The Airwaves to host recordings on the Live Music Archive:

Reclaiming The Airwaves allows audio taping at any shows unless
prohibited by the venue or promoter. We work hard to assure that
tapers always have the right to record our shows. We allow anyone to
upload live recordings to Archive.org and appreciate all of the
work! -RTA
